ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

We created the music and sound for the ‘Generatie D - Did it’ commercial. From concept to final product: the music was composed before the shooting had began. Generatie D - Did it focusses on the people and why they joined the ministry of defence. The music is a blend of organic as well as electronic elements. Fun Fact: in the early stages of production, the music was completely made form electronic sounds. In conversation with the director Lars Brink, the music lacked some warmth. Because of this, we’ve added a clarinet to combine with several different synthesisers. The end result is a mixture of both electronic- as well organic sounds. Combining this with realistic / impactful sound design created a cinematic audio experience.
